The size of your battery in a flashlight can dramatically increase the amount of time the flashlight will produce power.
This is how long you can expect a four bulb LED style flashlight to last:
Batteries:
AAA = 12 hrs at full power
AA = 25 hrs at full power
C = 75 hrs at full power
D = 250 hrs at full power
This is a rough estimate using a decent name brand alkaline battery.
